Winter School: Ontketen je creativiteit

Do you want to write a book, start a business or are you looking for new inspiration for a project?

Creativity is often very complicated. If you have 'it' you belong to a lucky group of children of the gods. If you don't have it, then you are forever a wretched person who has no business being in the creative domain. But if we learn one thing from the great creative minds, it is that creativity is above all hard work.

Do you also feel that you are sometimes stuck in patterns? where you want to break out but don't really know how? Do you want to look at issues at work in an open manner? Do you want to bring back the playfulness in your daily life and stimulate your curiosity? Or is it time to venture into those creative dreams that you didn't dare for a long time? Then register for the Winter School: Unleash your creativity

Creativity is about breaking familiar patterns,

in order to change things to see it another way. - Psychologist Edward de Bono

What is creativity?

The term creativity is often linked to art, cultural expressions and creative crafts. While these all require creativity, creativity extends much further. According to Psychologist Edward de Bono, one of the best-known authorities in this field, creativity is about breaking familiar patterns in order to see things in a different way. Frits Philips, who teaches this Winter School, describes it as being able to put on different glasses to stimulate your curiosity, both in your work and your private life.

Just like you develop your muscles by going to the gym, you develop your creativity mainly by getting started. And that is exactly what we will do in this Winter School. Prepare yourself for a dynamic, challenging and playful training in which you will look at the world, your work and yourself with completely different eyes.

Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.

― Pablo Picasso

What are you going to do?

In this Winter School will help you develop your creative muscles in four days. We do this with the help of a number of important creative thinkers and doers, but especially by getting started ourselves. You will learn how the different phases of the creative process work and how to use them for every creative project. You will receive assignments that stretch your creativity and challenge you to explore the unknown. You will also be given assignments and exercises between the sessions, which you will sometimes perform alone and sometimes together. In this way you will gradually recognize and let go of familiar patterns and develop a new, creative repertoire. You conclude the Winter School by applying all the insights you have gained to a creative project.
