During this training you increase your coaching skills and learn how to optimally support Young Professionals in their development.

As a leader you want your team members to develop into their full potential. That there is a culture in which everyone feels seen, appreciated and safe. That employees are aware of their blind spots and free themselves from obstructing beliefs. Not an easy task. And given the sensitivity around these types of issues, an over -directive style is not going to help you.

Coaching Young Professionals is perhaps one of the most satisfactory aspects of the work of managers. You help them develop their qualities and achieve their goals. Not by teaching, but by asking questions, inspiring and supporting. You encourage the self -reflecting and self -managing capacity of your coachees and you give the confidence that they themselves are able to find solutions for their challenges. With that you contribute to two crucial needs of Young Professionals: autonomy and development.

Even though many leaders see its value, yet it often turns out to be difficult to put coaching into practice. All too often we step into one of two pitfalls: we are going to advise or become directive. Logical, because that is usually what our leaders did with us. But not a panic, coaching is a skill that can be learned easily.
