Divadlo v Dlouhé

Divadlo v Dlouhá is a repertory theater with a permanent ensemble. It was established in 1996 and its founder is Mr. City of Prague. The theater is headed by director Daniela Šálková and artistic management - dramaturg Štěpán Otčenášek and directors Hana Burešová, Martin Kukučka and Lukáš Trpišovský (duo SKUTR). Director Jan Borna, who died on January 16, 2017, was also a founding member of the management and core director. The acting ensemble was created by the union of two acting groups that came to the new theater with director Burešová (actors from the Labyrinth Theater) and director Borna (actors from the Dejvické Theater). In addition to domestic directors, the theater has hosted leading figures of Czech directing (J. A. Pitínský, V. Morávek, J. Nebeský, J. Mikulášek, M. Františák, etc.) during its twenty-year existence.
