Élektra

oulektra was the daughter of the mythical commander of the Greeks in the Troy War, Agamemnon. Her story, culminating in the intricate and bloody history of the Atrovs family, inspired the emergence of a number of works of art from antiquity to the present. The Élektra continues to go to the deceased father, but she is lonely in her grief and resistance to the murderers and the supervisors of the throne, who humiliate and oppress it. Unlike Chrysothemis's sister, who urges her to accept her destiny and undergo the powerful, the Élektra is unable to compromise or pretense and rather retreats into isolation; He only longs for his brother Orest, who would avenge his father and return her to Myce, freedom and dignity. For Klytaimiter, daughter's resistance and his son's return from exile is a nightmare, and therefore welcomes as the liberation of a sudden rumor about his son's death and the subsequent despair of ílektry. However, no one knows that it is a rite - Orestés has secretly returned to Mycenae, according to the instruction of the divine fortune teller. It can be recognized by the Élektra and kills Mother I Aigistha. With a shift of religious-ethical values for two and a half thousand years since its inception, Sofoklov's drama still provokes with burning questions as to whether it is possible to force violence and to establish a fair order, whether revenge, albeit justified, can indeed bring cleansing and apologize.
