Lecturer:

Capacity: 12 participants
The price includes materials, necessary equipment and instruments, consumables and biological material, a certificate, refreshments throughout the duration of the course and a joint meeting after the end of the 1st day.
As part of the practical part, work will be done on 4 endoscopic AOHUA stations. The workshop is primarily focused on cats, but will work on canine and feline cadavers.
This hands-on two-day workshop will focus on improving your skills in gastrointestinal endoscopy. The course will provide an overview of the selection of appropriate equipment and safe handling skills for gastrointestinal endoscopy. You will receive instructions on gastrointestinal endoscopy, foreign body removal, and placement of an esophageal tube. You will see the benefits that endoscopy offers to your patients, clients and practice.
- Basic principles of endoscopy and how to choose the most suitable endoscopy equipment
- Careful "driving skills" required for flexible endoscopy in patients, which reduces the risk of iatrogenic damage to the patient and the equipment
- Techniques for obtaining endoscopic biopsies and endoscopic foreign body removal
- Placement of the esophageal probe
The workshop will be supplemented by the following lectures on feline medicine:
– Approach to gastrointestinal disease in cats
– Gastrointestinal disease in cats
– Gastrointestinal eosinophilic sclerosing fibroplasia in cats
– Comorbidities in senior cats with gastrointestinal disease
– Approach to anorexia in cats
The workshop is evaluated as part of the continuous education of KVL CR and KVL SK (please enter in notes in the basket your KVL number).
It is possible to use points from the Norbrook loyalty program, Purina veterinary program and V.I.P. points NOVIKO.
