Get started with minimally invasive surgery!
We invite you to an intensive two-day course on the basics of laparoscopy for veterinarians, which will guide you from theoretical foundations to practical mastery of key techniques.
The partner of the event is Pharm delivery (KARL STORZ).
Date: 28 – 29 November 2026
Venue: Veterinary Education Center (VEC), V Holešovičkách 18, Prague 8
Lecturer: MVDr. B.Sc. Jakub Köcher-Vodnárek, Dipl. ECVS
Capacity: 12 participants
The price includes materials, necessary instrumentation and equipment, consumables and biological material, certificate, refreshments for the entire duration of the course and a joint meeting after the end of the 1st day.
As part of the practical part, work will be done at 4 KARL STORZ endoscopy stations.
🔬 What awaits you?
The course is designed in such a way that you gain solid foundations and confidence in practice. It combines clear theory with hands-on training on simulators and cadavers, where you can try everything yourself under the guidance of an experienced lecturer.
📚 The course program includes:
Skills training for laparoscopy
Overview of the necessary equipment for laparoscopy
Basic procedures in laparoscopy - establishing ports, extra- and intracorporeal knots
Laparoscopic procedures:
liver biopsy
ovariohysterectomy and cryptorchid castration
laparoscopically assisted and laparoscopic gastropexy
👩⚕️👨⚕️ The course is suitable for veterinarians who want to start with laparoscopy or to strengthen their basics.
The workshop is awarded points as part of the continuous education of KVL CR and KVL SK (please enter your KVL number in the notes in the basket).
