Temporary Collective

Temporary Collective is an independent platform for the creation of artistic projects of various thematic and genre ranges.

It follows on from the original work of director Petra Tejnorová and dancer Tereza Ondrová. It is a live platform for a wide range of collaborators. Temporary Collective was founded in 2017 by Petra Tejnorová, Tereza Ondrová and Michal Somoš. They were led to this by long-term cooperation on a number of theater, dance and film projects such as You Are Here, Nevina or the short film Hello, is there anyone? Director Petra Tejnorová previously had a group Sgt.Tejnorová & The Commando, dancer and choreographer Tereza Ondrová previously had VerTeDance.

The passion of both authors in connecting and crossing different genres and disciplines culminated in the creation of the new creative platform Temporary Collective. Temporary Collective focuses on the possibility to explore different territories and different media. Temporary Collective is not based on permanence, i.e. on a permanent space, on one theater, in one permanent place - but on the contrary, it forms its identity thanks to the diversity of ties and places where theater and dance can take place and in which team composition can be formed.

In 2019, photographer Marek Bartoš and musician and visual artist Dominik Žižka, longtime collaborators on dance, but also theater and film projects, joined the founding trio.
