One Gesture

From Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and night dreams straight to the stage.

TEMPORARY YOUNG brings a dance remix of today's world, where the body scrolls before the head and reality steals like a gesture. Digital fragments, viral movements and minute body impulses are assembled into a living collage, in which youth is not counted in years, but in the intensity of transmission.

The body works here, as in everyday life, only with what already exists; it uses, relocates and recombines the gestures and rhythms that circulate through digital space. Here, the world becomes an open archive – a feed with which people are in dialogue and which can be worn, layered and taken on like clothing or emotion. Gesture here is something that happens between bodies, in rhythm, in tension, in ambiguity. Memory is not archived linearly, but returns in affects, echoes, and incomplete images.

These are the moments just before awakening when the rational and the irrational mix. Faded echoes and ghosts of the past, remnants of nightmares, foreign images and one's own memories overlap without yet making clear sense. Before recognition - the moment before the body and mind begin to recognize, name and sort.
