Studio Damúza

Currently, the Damúza brand hides a production and producer unit supporting innovative theater artists, musicians and other, especially visual artists, who do not want to fit into ordinary theater operations, but want to discover, provoke, explore.

Activity Damúzy consists of the creation of its own repertoire of author's productions, the organization of two festivals (KUK and Vyšehrátky) and also from additional programs of these activities in the form of workshops, art workshops, seminars and discussions. From the beginning, the studio focused mainly on ambitious projects of students and recent graduates of DAMU. He still sticks to this line. The studio supports exploratory and original projects for demanding, theater-educated viewers looking for something new. The productions are characterized by combining the genres of alternative, art and puppet theatre, music and dance.
