Johny Nasty Boots

Johny Nasty Boots, a power trio from Lyon, France, who lives and breathes the era when rock'n'roll was ruled by molten tube apparatus. Their concept of heavy blues-rock is soaked in the influence of Hendrix and early Cream, but delivered with a modern ferocity and a dirty sound that doesn't rub off on anything. Johny Nasty Boots is no retro revival; it's a raw, energetic ride, where he plays a prim honest groove and guitar heroism without unnecessary embellishments. Their debut album recorded in the legendary studios in Los Angeles only confirms that this trio has "vintage soul" deep under their skin.
