accent is the state of Lower Austria's high-tech incubator and supports technology-oriented startups, spin-offs and innovative SMEs in the development and implementation of their business ideas - from founding to market readiness.

accent carries out the EU-funded project "ESG in Focus" to specifically support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Lower Austria in their sustainable transformation. The focus of the project is the practical transfer of knowledge and strategies around the ESG criteria - i.e. ecological (environmental), social (social) and corporate ethical (governance) aspects that are becoming increasingly important for the competitiveness and future security of companies.

“ESG in Focus” offers SMEs low-threshold access to relevant information, individual advice, event formats such as webinars and ESG check-ins as well as orientation to funding opportunities and Implementation steps. There is a particular focus on concrete possible applications in everyday business life - from resource-saving measures to sustainable business models through to compliance with legal requirements and voluntary ESG standards.

With the project, accent makes an active contribution to the sustainable development of Lower Austria as a business location and supports companies in using ESG as an opportunity for innovation and differentiation.
