About event
Angela Hermanová graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Košice, but found her place in the community of non -professional artists and craftsmen. However, she started to develop her talent since 2010. At that time she attended drawing and painting courses led by a pair of artists Noémi Ráczová and Zsolt Lukács. They motivated her to further work. Since 2014 she attended painting courses with artist Ľubica Obručová. He is currently attending courses with watercolor Olga Kharchenko. He regularly participates in paintings, watercolor workshops at home and abroad (eg under the leadership of Yuko Nagayama, Michaela Solovyeva, Jung Hun-Sung), also the Italian festival Urbino In Acquerello, where she performed live in the last year's presentation. For some time she worked as a wire jewelry lecturer in UĽUV in Košice.
She tried several art techniques in her work. She started with textile creation, through batik, felting, silk painting, but most of them were approached by pastel and watercolor. It radiates softness and lightness from the works it creates. It is inspired by the nature in which it finds beauty and harmony. In her work, however, there is also the theme of still life, city and portraits. In 2020, it had its first author exhibition in Košice as part of a two -contest called Spectra. In 2022 she exhibited her works as part of the author's exhibition Art in the Readroom at the Reading Bar of the Central Public Library of Ján Bocatia. Other exhibitions: 2022 exhibition Connection, 2023 and 2025 exhibitions in Glory Cafe all together with Vieka Vancáková, 2025 Joint exhibition of authors led by Olga Kharchenko.
The author participates every year in the competition of non -professional artistic creation art spectrum, where in the years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025 won the contest of the competition of honorable recognition. Currently, her watercolor life in memories is exhibited within the nationwide round in Žilina.
