Weingut Dürnberg is located in the traditional wine town of Falkenstein, around an hour north of Vienna. The region is characterized by clay and limestone soils as well as a special microclimate that gives the wines their cool minerality, precise fruit and lively structure. Grüner Veltliner is clearly the focus, complemented by Burgundy varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.

The winery combines traditional Weinviertel origins with a modern style and sustainable management. Since the 2024 vintage, all wines have been certified organic, and the winery also has the “Sustainable Austria” and “Vegan” certifications.

At this wine evening we taste more than 10 different wines from Weingut Dürnberg and immerse ourselves in Falkenstein’s style together – from the classic peppery-mineral Grüner Veltliner to complex Burgundy wines with depth and elegance.
