About event
🟠 Lightness of being - Cello Republic | 21/6/19:00 Troy Brewery TROYA
🎵 Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with Cello Republic at the Troy Brewery TROYA!
When four cellists decide that serious music doesn't have to be so serious... Cello Republic is born. An ensemble that breaks down prejudices, transcends genre boundaries and proves that even four cellos can sound like a full orchestra - and make you laugh.
Their "no limits" concept mixes bravura technique with the lightness of stand-up: the musicians explain, gloss, improvise, and at the same time draw you into a world where Beethoven meets the Beatles and Bach meets Queen.
Cello Republic doesn't take itself seriously, but takes music dead serious - that's why their concerts work as a perfect bridge between the world of concert halls and club nights, between tradition and the present, between art and life. These guys became famous here, in the world, on YouTube and wherever they set foot. They leave behind sold-out halls, original concert experiences and millions of views.
🎻 Cast: Petr Špaček, Matěj Štěpánek, Jan Zemen, Ivan Vokáč / cello
