About event
Cello Republic is an ensemble composed of four cellists who, after studying at the world's leading universities, realized that they had been missing something in their concerts on big stages, humor. 🙂
They throw away the safe respectability of institutions and blur the line between the stage and the audience. He comes up with the concept of a concert with the subtitle "no limits", where they erase the current boundaries of the cello's technical possibilities, supplemented by a "stand up comedy show", where on the one hand they explain and gloss over the music, on the other hand they put it in context with human stories and anecdotes from everyday life. therefore, their concerts are accessible both to the general public and to the ardent listener/specialist of classical music.
Petr Špaček / Matěj Štěpánek / Jan Zemen / Ivan Vokáč
