Tmavomodrý Ježek... Chvíli, ještě malou chvíli...

A tragicomic theater revue with dance about an extraordinary human life.

A multi-genre production that works with the musical legacy of the composer Jaroslav Ježek (1906–1942). The composer of classical and popular music, who died at the age of just 35, left behind a number of orchestral, chamber and song compositions. His ability to compose serious music, as well as theater and film music, which has almost become popular, makes him one of the leading composers of Czech music of the 20th century.

The textual part of the performance is based on his correspondence, on available factual literature and on the memories of his friends. It is not just a literal capture of his biography, but an approach to his essence, creative spirit, his mindset and essence. But also a creative platform for contemporary creators - new dramatic text, author's music and choreography.

It is about the conceptual development of Ježek's work, his fondness for transforming musical themes, his ability to improvise, work with text, fantasy and fiction. It is a colorful multi-genre mosaic from the life and work of a cult artist who was able to move on the border between commercial styles and the avant-garde.

The performance will take place in the garden of the villa. In case of bad weather, it will be moved to the attic.
