About event
17. Missing Mapsing Mapathon will take place live in the RA013 classroom at the Faculty of Management and Informatics of the University of Žilina (Velky Vlat 3324, 010 08 Žilina) as well as online via Zoom on Tuesday 6 May 2025 from 18:00 to 20:00.
Mapathon (mapping marathon) is accessible to the general public and the admission is not paid. Together, according to satellite images, we will create a digital map for the humanitarian organization doctors without borders. Unless you have experience with remote mapping (Remote Mapping), it doesn't matter. You will learn everything on the spot. After a short training you will be able to map yourself. We also cordially invite experienced mapers who no longer need any trainings and just want to map undisturbed.
The mission in South Sudan will come to talk to Tomáš Bendl, the communication manager of doctors without borders. href = "https://www.facebook.com/events/981010554148397"> https://www.facebook.com/events/981010554148397 . href = "https://www.tickettailor.com/events/missingmapsczsk/1661178"> https://www.ticketailor.com/events/missingmapsczc/16161178
