It will show the interdisciplinary context of a number of research topics and leads us to realize that no information is useless. science. The lecture will focus on current knowledge of biology, chemistry and physics of human excrement with an emphasis on quantitative context. We will explore modern methods and tools used in the analysis of excrement and their application in medicine, ecology and other sciences. We will also discuss complex systems such as cities that inevitably produce their own waste, and how these waste are processed and used to obtain valuable information.

Petr Slavíček (*1976) works as a professor of physical chemistry at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of ICT in Prague. He is a member of the School of the Czech Republic. He professionally deals with the theoretical photochemistry. He completed his master's degree at the Faculty of Science, Charles University and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University. He attended a post -reactor internship at the University of Illinois, lecturing at three universities in France as a visiting professor. He is a laureate of a number of awards, such as Neuron for young scientists for 2016 or two Minister of Education, Youth and Sports - for Education (2019) and for extraordinary research results (2024).
