About event
They are back! The living conditions are more serious, but the authors are not.
“No reason to shout like that,” the new volume of conversations by Martin Suter and Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre, will be published by Diogenes Verlag at the end of October and will be live from December 14th can only be experienced on a few of the major stages in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
»Fast, clever and incredibly funny, like a dinner with Thomas Bernhard, Ricky Gervais and the Rolling Stones.«
Ferdinand von Schirach
The rare joint appearances of the two best-selling authors are exclusive rarities not only because of their small number of dates - the way they are presented, the show staged with a brilliantly unpredictable spontaneity, turns the text into something completely different .
Live there are always surprises with Martin Suter and Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre. In Berlin, for example, there was the surprising appearance of the wonderful Danger Dan, in Hamburg Linda Zervakis and Caren Miosga read a chapter from the previous volume "Everyone has become so serious" and in Cologne Suter and Stuckrad-Barre talked to themselves and the enthusiastic audience with Karl Lauterbach and Tommi Schmitt.
Rolling Stone magazine celebrated the supposedly unequal couple for their appearances as
“literary rock stars”.
