The newcomer from Bochum does it differently and has decided not to have to choose - between punchlines and Poetry, reflection and fighting spirit, melancholy and self-empowerment, unmistakable announcements and metaphorically encoded messages. With the “Perle im Pott” tour in 2026, MARNELE is going on her first headlining tour. MARNELE music is timeless poetry that finds expression in contemporary rap singing; this is a sharp, thoughtful, world-weary, but sometimes also tongue-in-cheek look towards the outside and into the self; it's a bit of Ruhrpott and a bit of Paris. MARNELE music mostly plays in darkened rooms and nighttime settings; it is almost always enveloped in an abysmal, tranquil aesthetic of text, sound and images. At the same time - despite all the comfyness - there is always an irrepressible energy that rarely tips into dreaminess; and a lyrical and vocal sharpness brimming with urgency that is surreally captivating.
