"We are creating space for the development of possibilities for applying dancers in an international environment. We give the opportunity to get a specific job. We combine the efforts of individual troupes in the field of international cooperation and booking, simplify access to new talents on the international scene, educate them and increase the readiness of dancers to work in troupes at the international level. We share experiences and look for ways to further develop international cooperation at all levels of contemporary dance and physical theatre. Through mutual cooperation, we reduce the costs of individual ensembles in the mentioned areas."
"When implementing our projects, we want to work with great dancers and professionals from other fields, we want our work to be known by audiences all over the country and at the same time we want to regularly confront our work with what is happening in the world. Together we want to continue to develop, learn, share our creations and show why we do what we do with great passion. We are open to everyone who wants to follow the same path. That's why we founded Bread&Dance Prague. That's why we opened the exchange of dancers, that's why we're opening a networking base, to which we invited both other creators and promoters, representatives of theaters and festivals, and marketing specialists. From the world and from the domestic scene. When we talk about sustainability, we talk about passion, meaning and openness. We do not define ourselves, but together we look for ways forward. We open the world of dance. Do you think similarly? Come!"
The event is held under the auspices of the Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic, Martin Baxa.
