Authentic Movement is a relational, somatic practice centered around the experience of not knowing through movement.
In its basic form, one person moves with closed eyes while being attentively and nonjudgmentally witnessed by another.
This practice invites you to experience yourself fully in the here and now – with all the facets that make you who you are in this very moment.
The act of being witnessed creates a present and accepting space for the mover. Both mover and witness practice a nonjudgmental awareness.
Becoming aware of our inner judgments opens the door to exploring their origins – which, in turn, lays the foundation for choosing whether to follow them or to move differently.
Authentic Movement also sheds light on where we come from and the patterns that are embedded in our bodies.
This yearlong closed group provides a stable and safe space for ongoing process work.
No matter whether your life feels turbulent, exhausting, slow, or simply “as it is” – if you are looking for a held space for embodied integration, reflection, and nonjudgmental movement and being, this group is for you.
The group meets once a month over the course of eight sessions, plus one weekend gathering.
The commitment supports the creation of a space that is as safe, courageous, and trusting as possible – for your personal exploration and development.
