Zeke Deux
Zeke Deux is a Japanese metal and visual kei band that combines elements of heavy metal, power metal and symphonic motifs with a distinct visual aesthetic typical of the visual kei scene. The project was created in 2021 and quickly gained the attention of fans thanks to its energetic sound and strong visual expression. The group was founded in August 2021 by vocalist Kakeru (formerly frontman of Scarlet Valse) and guitarist Haruka (ex-the Reveude). Gradually, bassist Maya joined them as an official member, while guitarist Satsuki and drummer Loa act as so-called "project members" to support live performances and recordings. Zeke Deux creates music on the border between melodic heavy metal and power metal, with strong symphonic metal elements and energetic rhythms, which are accompanied by fast and technically demanding guitar parts. Their aesthetics (visual kei) places a strong emphasis on dramatic and stylized visual expression, which distinguishes them from ordinary metal bands.
