Yot Club
Yot Club is the musical project of American singer, songwriter and producer John Ryan Kaiser, who hails from the state of Mississippi. He has been involved in music since childhood and since 2014 has published his own recordings on the Internet under the name Amateur Observer. The Yot Club project was formed in 2019, when he started releasing the first tracks and EPs, including Aquarium and Bipolar.
He gained more significant attention with the track YKWIM?, which spread on social networks and streaming platforms after its release in 2019 and was later certified platinum. The musical creation of the project moves between indie pop, lo-fi, bedroom pop and other styles, while it is characterized by home production and a combination of guitar and electronic elements.
In 2022, he released his debut album off the grid, which followed on from the previous EP and expanded his discography with his first full-length album. It was followed by the album Rufus (2024), also created in collaboration with other musicians and producers, and supplemented with new authorial approaches and production methods.
Current work is represented by the album Simpleton (2026) and the EP Rule of Thirds (2025), along with a number of new singles released in 2025-2026.
