Vosto5

Divadlo Vosto5 is devoted to original theater in its programming. For the entire duration of his existence, his work primarily seeks new possible ways for truly live communication with the viewer. He investigates how to activate the viewer, how to organically connect him with the changing, living and ephemeral structure of the theatrical performance, how to draw the viewer in beyond the ordinary level of perception. The themes of all productions are united by an interest in Czech themes, Vosto5 does not idealize the features of our national nature and shows them in their complexity and ambiguity - always with a conspiratorial distance and perspective. In Prague, Vosto5 works as a permanent guest of Studio Ypsilon, Archa Theater and Jatek78 and regularly performs in a number of theaters and festivals throughout the Czech Republic.
