thistle.

Thistle band. is a British musical trio from Northampton that was formed in 2023 and has been active in the independent alternative scene since the beginning. The group consists of singer Cameron Godfrey, bassist Judwyn Rushton and drummer Lewis O'Grady. Its early work was created in DIY conditions, especially in a garage environment, which was reflected in the resulting sound combining elements of lo-fi, noise rock and post-shoegaze.

In 2025, the band released the debut EP It's Nice to See You, Stranger, which summarizes the material written during the previous period and represents the first complete author's ensemble. The recording thematically reflects personal experiences and interpersonal relationships, and at the same time draws inspiration from the alternative and indie scene.

After the release of their debut, the group expanded their activities to include concert performances in Great Britain and Europe, including supporting other performers on tour. This phase was followed by other work, for example the single tied released in 2025, which develops the band's current style and thematically focuses on everyday experiences and work reality.
