The Subways

The Subways is a British rock band that was founded in 2002 in Welways Garden City, Hertfordshire. The band was founded by Billy and Charlotte Lunn, who connected with drummer Josh Morgan. The Subways combines elements of India rock, punk and garage rock, creating their characteristic sound. After Josh Morgan's departure in 2015, the band continued as a trio and later invited new members. This album is considered their breakthrough and helped them establish themselves on the British India scene. The Subways are known for their energetic and dynamic music, based on strong guitar riffs, fast pace and emotions of charged lyrics. Their musical style is influenced by British bands such as The Clash, The Libertines or The Strokes. The band continued to release albums, including Money and Celebrity (2011) and The Subways (2015), which reflected the development of their sound and texts.
