Sleep Theory

Sleep Theory was formed in 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee as the solo project of singer Cullen Moore, a former soldier. The initial form of the project gradually expanded to include other members, including bassist Paolo Vergara from the Philippines. With this, the formation developed into a full-fledged band.

Sleep Theory's musical style combines elements of alternative metal, hard rock and nu metal, in which R&B influences also appear. The vocal performance combines melodic singing with screaming, and the lyrics are based on personal experiences and inner themes.

In 2023, the band released their debut EP called Paper Hearts. The singles Another Way and Numb were released before its release. Two years later, in May 2025, the first studio album Afterglow was released under the Epitaph Records label, from which came the singles Stuck In My Head, Paralyzed or Static.

Sleep Theory's first public appearance took place at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis. Subsequently, the band performed on tour and shared stages as an opening act with groups such as Shinedown, Beartooth or Falling In Reverse.
