Skety

Skety is a Czech vocal a-cappella project of young jazz singers and musicians who have been active on the Czech scene for a long time with their own projects and are part of many other musical ensembles and acts. Their music appealed to top professionals of world renown, who became co-creators of their first album of the same name. The group uses not only classical vocal techniques, but also beatboxing, looping and digital editing of voices. The band's hit Alkoholická, which they sang with guest Vojtěch Dyk, made a strong impression on the listeners.

The band has won numerous awards. In 2014, for example, she celebrated success in the European Vocal Total competition in Graz, Austria, where she received a Golden Diploma and the prestigious The Ward Swingle Award in the Jazz category. She thus received four nominations for the prestigious American CARA - Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards.
