Siebeneichener Quartett

The Siebeneichener Quartett was founded in the fall of 2023 by students of the Prague Conservatory under the artistic direction of prof. Radim Sedmidubský. The ensemble members are David Hernych and Marek Pavlica (violins), Jan Čermák (viola) and David Pěruška (cello).

Shortly after its formation, the quartet participated in the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition 2023, where it won first prize and received other awards, for example the prize for the best participant in the competition, or the Prize of the Viktor Kalabis and Zuzana Růžičková Foundation. The members of the quartet are also laureates of a number of national and international solo competitions.

The members of the Siebeneichener Quartet are also scholarship holders of the Academy of Chamber Music. As part of the three-year program, selected musicians are given concert opportunities with leading Czech and international soloists and chamber musicians.
