Prago Union

Prago Union is a hip hop band from Prague that has been active for more than twenty years. Prago Union frontman Kato, aka Def aka Deph, has been active on the music scene since the second half of the nineties, when he "bossed" the group Chaozz. The band Prago Union was founded in 2002 by Kato together with DJ Skupla, and Dědek on the microphone and DJ Büphe performed episodicly with them as the second concert DJ.

Currently DJ Ramel from České Budějovice, or a live band, performs with Kato composed of Ondra Hauser (band leader and bass), Tony Dlapa (guitar), Jen Hovorka (keyboards) and Marek Urbanek (drums). Prago Union has eight studio albums, five compilations of previously unreleased songs and one special recording recorded live in concert. For their work, the band Prago Union won two Angel Awards in the past, specifically for the albums Dezorient Express and V barvách. The last album with the telling title Příduhned... the band released in the summer of 2022. In 2024, the band will release another album called Zvukoloď.
