Pasión De Buena Vista

Pasión De Buena Vista continues the musical tradition started by the Buena Vista Social Klub - a Havana dance and music club with great popularity especially in the 1930s and 1940s. In the early 1950s, as a result of the Cuban Revolution, the club disappeared, but in 1996 the acclaimed music album Buena Vista Social Klub was produced by renowned producer Ry Cooder and Havana musician Marcos Gonzáles. The first tour followed, culminating in a concert at Carnegie Hall in 1998. In 1999, the famous film Buena Vista Social Club was made.

Pasión De Buena Vista brings a taste of the sweet bohemian life to Cuba from the first half of the 20th century through hot rhythms, captivating dances and unforgettable melodies.
