Oversize

Oversize is a British music group from South West England, which was officially founded in 2019 in the city of Salisbury. The band was formed from an original three-member project, which gradually expanded to a five-member line-up consisting of Sam McCauley, Lewis Lennane-Emm, Tazz Edwards, George Lewis and Sam Shutler.

In the initial phase of its activity, the group focused on the creation of demo recordings and first concerts, while its early style was based on emo and alternative rock. Gradually, there was a shift towards the genre known as shoegaze and grungegaze, which combines elements of alternative rock, post-hardcore and electronic effects.

The band released their first official recordings in the form of singles in 2020, followed by the debut EP In Balance (2021). A second EP, Into the Ceiling, was released in 2022 via Church Road Records.

In 2024, the band signed to SharpTone Records and began work on their debut album, which featured the singles Fall Apart, Vital Signs and Vacant. The debut album Vital Signs was released in February 2025 and represents the group's first full-length recording, which showed a further shift towards more modern forms of shoegaze and alternative rock.
