Do you enjoy watching films in a theater? Do you love having lengthy, in-depth conversations about them right after, over a cocktail or a non-alcoholic beverage? If so, you've come to the right place!

We all have unique experiences when watching a film, and that’s the beauty of it—hearing each other's perspectives on what we saw! Join us on the east side of Portland to catch classics or new films at historic local theaters like the Academy, Hollywood, and Laurelhurst. Afterward, meet up at a nearby bar or café to discuss, theorize, and critique!

This meetup happens once a month, mostly on weekends, either during matinees or evenings. Plan to set aside at least an hour or two after the show for lively conversations about the film.

The types of films we'll be watching are going to be a mix of new and classic films that will have elements of horror, thriller, action, drama, some comedy, but mainly seeing films that challenge us and generate interesting discussions no matter what genre they fall under.
