Martin Jakubíček

Martin Jakubíček studied composition and harpsichord at the Brno Conservatory and further expanded his musical education by studying improvisation at JAMU, which he soon represented at organ competitions. In addition to his solo concert activities (harpsichord, organ, hammer piano), he works as the artistic director of renowned chamber ensembles engaged in the stylish interpretation of Renaissance and Baroque music. He gives concerts in most European countries, works as an organist in Brno churches at home, often accompanies choirs, participates in dozens of CD recordings. No less important is his activity as a composer and arranger.
