Marcel Gidote's Holy Crab is a five-member psychedelic formation from Pilsen, which has been fully operational since the beginning of 2019. In their work, the "Krábí hoši" balance between psychedelic rock and jazz, which enrich the dynamic transitions between other genres.
In 2020, she released her debut on the independent label Polí5 - a self-titled EP called Bay of Roots. In 2021, they released their first full-length album entitled Humidity Breaking Limits, where they moved from the calmer sound of the first EP to a more ambitious and also harder expression.
The band in a short time brought to the forefront of the Czech psychedelic scene and jumped ahead of several foreign names such as Acid Mothers Temple (JAP) or Lumerians (USA). At the same time, MGHC played at festivals such as Stonesmoker, Pottvrzí or Propadak or several times as part of the project Mladí ladí jazz. In 2021, the band made a live recording in the creative spaces of Moving Station in Pilsen.
