Malá česká muzika Jiřího Pospíšila

The ensemble was founded in Prague in 1960 by music composer and conductor Jaroslav Krček (1939) under the name Little Music of the Josef Vycpálek Collection of Songs and Dances. In the original line-up there were only two violins, a viola and a double bass (hence "little music"). From the beginning, the soul of music was a folklorist, music arranger, instrumentalist, dancer and, above all, an excellent folk singer Jiří Pospíšil.
