Maggie Reilly

Maggie Reilly's career began in 1970 when she recorded her first single Imagine Me. Moments later, with keyboardist Stuart MacKillop, she formed the band Cado Belle (originally Joe Cool), which quickly became a Scottish popular music phenomenon. The singer is best known for her collaborations with Mike Oldfield, with whom she recorded such evergreens as Moonlight Shadow, To France, Foreign Affair and Family Man, for which she was awarded an ASCAP statuette in 1984. In the 1990s she embarked on a solo career, the first fruit of which was the hit-filled album Echoes, released in 1991, from which came compositions such as Everytime We Touch, Wait and Tears in Rain. The disc went gold in many countries.
