Lisa La Colla - Screenwriter & Writing Coach

Welcome to my Workshops!

I am Lisa, your Screenwriting Coach. Here you can find some info about me. Can't wait to meet you in Class!

I was born on the beautiful island of Sardinia, Italy, where my heritage inspires much of my work. At 19, I moved to Bologna to study Drama, Art, and Music, completing my studies with an exchange program at the Sorbonne in Paris, where I fell in love with screenwriting. I earned a Master’s in Cinema, Television, and Multimedia Productions from the University of Bologna and a UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting.

After working as a screenwriter at Das Rund GmbH in Vienna, I became a freelancer, hosting live Screenwriting Workshops where several students have completed their first drafts. As a versatile writer, I focus on historical and identity-centered stories, often inspired by women’s lives and my native homeland Sardinia.

As a pianist, singer, and actress, I bring musical and dramatic depth to my storytelling. Traveling the world fuels my passion for uncovering real-life stories to share on screen.
