Libor Šmoldas Trio

In his organ trio, Libor invited the organist Jakub Zomer, whose popularity among the Czech jazz audience is constantly increasing, and the drummer Daniel Šoltis, known for example from the bands -123 Minut or Vertigo, to collaborate. In 2017, the group released the album Lay It Down!

The Libor Šmoldas Organ Trio surprises with a surge of positive energy, with which it plays its own compositions, based not only on the jazz tradition, but also strongly based on blues, funk and soul of the sixties. In addition to Libor's guitar and excellently mastered drums, the characteristic sound of the trio is provided primarily by the authentic Hammond B3 organ, an instrument well known to a wide range of music lovers, but rarely seen and heard in our countries.
