Kill the Dandies!

Kill the Dandies! is a band from Prague, formed in 2007, when it was founded by La Petie Sonja and Hank Jesus Manchini. In addition to the pair of founders, the band also consists of Vratislav Placheta and Petr Janák. Stylistically, it comes from post punk combined with garage and psychedelic rock and with significant overlaps into other genres such as soul, disco, or electronica. Over time, the group leans more and more towards soul and psychedelia, as well as analog electronics.

They are inspired by the psychedelic ballads of Lee Hazlewood, the primitivism of The Velvet Underground or the "Spector" walls of sound. The first album strongly influenced by the garage 60's lo-fi sound called I Saw White Fields was released in 2009 on their own label Drug Me Records in cooperation with the Berlin label Pale Music Berlin and distributed by London's Rough Trade. p>

In 2017, they released their third full-length album called Ron, Ron, Ron.
