Karlovarský symfonický orchestr

The Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra is an older orchestra in Bohemia and one of the oldest in the world. It was founded in 1835 by a composer, violinist and conductor Josef Labitzký as a seasonal spa body. Forty years later, Labitz's son August turned him into a permanent symphony orchestra with a versatile repertoire. An important achievement of the orchestra was the introduction of the continental premiere of the New World Symphony Antonín Dvořák in Postal Dvůr 20 July 1894. These include the Nosferat project - Symphony for Draw or Multi -Grown Concert with the group Čechomor and with a record attendance of 4,500 summer cinema spectators or a concert with the Hungarian group Omega also in the summer cinema. He traditionally participates in the opening ceremony of the spa season in Karlovy Vary. The Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra itself has been organizing Beethoven's Music Festival since 1992.
