Janus Rasmussen

Janus Rasmussen comes from the remote Faer Islands, and since his early age, the music of his passion, listening to recordings across music genres and cultures to find out what sounds they would do with. At first he took the guitars and soon began to create his own electronic Budby style. Today, Rasmussen cooperates with the pianist and producer ólafur Arnalds and together forms the duo Kiasmos, which has performed at countless festivals, including those that are among the largest in the world. Rasmussen's debut Solo album called Wine was released in March 2019. In this album, it explores new opportunities beyond his previous work and plays with the sounds of the experimental minimalist technique.
