Jan Spálený & ASPM

The ASPM group was founded by Jan Spálený together with Petr Kalandra in 1984. Originally a folk-blues trio, it matured into a crossover quintet. ASPM (Amateur Association of Professional Musicians) moves virtuosically on the border of blues, jazz, gumbo and folk genres, which mix and freely combine with each other. ASPM is led by Jan Spálený, a musician and storyteller who is the author of most of the songs, a singer and a cornet and piano player.
