Jan Dědek

During his studies, Jan Dědek started contributing to the music magazine Rock & Pop in 1992, then to the dailies Mladá Fronta Dnes, Lidové Noviny and magazines Mladý Svět, Elle and Premiere. In the years 2000-2010, he was the editor of the weekly Reflex. He currently works in the Víkend supplement of the Lidové noviny daily. He is also the screenwriter of the music TV show MusicBlok and the radio show Čajovna on Český rozhlas 3 – Vltava, where he introduces his guests every first Sunday of the month. He participated as a co-author in the TV documentaries about Jan Nedvěd, Boris Hybner, Marta Jandová and Bořislav Navrátil from the series 13. chamber. He wrote a biography of the group Lucie entitled Srouby do hlavy (2000), a book of collected interviews Live (2004) and Reminiscences of the 20th Century (2006).
