Jakub Šimanský

Guitarist Jakub Šimanský is musically based on so-called American primitivism, which had its roots both in the bluegrass tradition of the American South and in Asian music, and enriches it with Czech country/folk romanticism. Among other things, it is characterized by an unconventional approach to tuning, rhythm and repetitive elements. However, it is difficult to classify it in one genre. He played with bands across the spectrum of genres, whether it's the Prostejov hardcore band Unna or the dreampop band Fotbal from Budějovice and Brno. Among other things, he is one half of the guitar duo Niesner & Šimanský.
