Jack And The Weatherman
Jack and the Weatherman is a music duo from Haarlem, Netherlands, consisting of Berry "Jack" Krikken and Sebastiaan "Weatherman" Weerman. Their music combines elements of pop, folk, reggae and hip-hop with lyrics that reflect aspects of life. Berry and Sebastiaan became friends during high school and after years of separate life paths they met again in Haarlem, where their musical collaboration was born.
The first recordings were made as independent projects without the support of a record label or management. They released three EPs between 2014-2016: Something Positive (2014), Homewards (2015) and Some Kind of Purpose (2016). They subsequently released their debut studio album The Lucky Ones in 2018. This was followed by the release of One of Us in 2021/2022.
The band has been touring across Europe, including appearances at festivals and concerts in countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. Their song Till The Sun Comes Up was certified platinum in the Netherlands and was used in the film production De Terugreis (2024).
After the global pandemic, the band celebrated their ten-year anniversary in 2023 with a live performance at Paradiso Amsterdam. New singles such as Starlight, Incredible and Miracle were released during this period. This was followed by a tour in several European countries.
In 2025, the group continued to create and perform, planning a European Expanse Tour and working on new compositions. Their most recent releases include the August 2025 single All You'll Ever Need and the single Thorns.
