Ice Nine Kills

Ice Nine Kills (Ink) is an American metalcor band from Boston, founded in 2002 by Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz. The band is known for horror aesthetics and lyrics inspired by cult horror films. Originally they played post-hardcore and punk rock, but their style gradually evolved into aggressive metalcore with melodic elements. The breakthrough came up with the album Every Trick in the Book (2015), followed by the Silver Scream (2018) and the Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood (2021), where every song refers to the famous horror film. Ink are known for sophisticated concerts with props and costumes, where Charnas is often changed as horror icons. Thanks to the original connection of music and pop -cultural references, the band has won a wide fan base and performs at large festivals like Rock Am Ring or Download Festival.
