Hm…
The roots of the playful and original music group Hm... date back to 1994, when Marek Doubrava, then the guitarist of the band Tata Bojs, started rehearsing his own songs with his friend Viktor Ekrt. The band started to entertain the audience with their cheerful and playful concerts under the adopted name Hm... In addition to original material, from the beginning they also used poems by classical poets, Czech and international: Seifert, Orten, Wolker, Sova, Blatné, Apollinaire and Rimbaud. Um... he often uses the tools of music to transform themes, often serious, into an experience that goes far beyond poetry. The band uncovers places that are "hidden between the lines" and underlines them with delicate arrangements. The ensemble has released four records so far: debut ...that could be interesting (2000), Lunch (2004), Plan for Winter (2008 ), Klukoviny (2011), Lovu zar (2013) and Nevadí (2019).
