Hermanos Gutiérrez

Hermanos Gutiérrez is an Ecuadorian-Swiss instrumental music duo founded in 2015 in Zurich by brothers Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez. Their work is dominated by guitar instrumental music based on Latin American and Western influences.

The first albums released between 2017 and 2021 include the titles 8 Años, El Camino de Mi Alma, Hoy Como Ayer and Hijos del Sol, which gradually developed their style based on a combination of guitars, lap steel and percussion. In 2022, they released their fifth studio album El Bueno y el Malo, recorded in Nashville in collaboration with producer Dan Auerbach and released on the Easy Eye Sound label. In 2024, the sixth studio album Sonido Cósmico, also produced by Auerbach, followed.

The duo continues concert activity and studio work; current work includes, for example, the single Hold On To The Light released in 2025 and other collaborations and live performances presenting new compositions.
